First Hospital Visit With Leukemia
Hi again,
Well i said i would catch everyone up to date about my Leukemia diagnosis, before i talk about where i am now. I had exciting news, but i want to do this in the RIGHT order. I get funny about that.
So anyway, i was at my friend Jessica's place, i actually know about this day because SHE wrote it down in HER diary so she told me about it later.
Like i said i was at Jessica's place. Shaving cut pissing it with blood. Her very religious mother was fussing over my leg, and bandaged it up for me just in time to make a run for the bus. It wasn't a great morning, i hated running (well Doh i had Leukemia and didn't know it remember) and i was exhausted by the time we got to the bloody bus stop. But anyway back to Jess's mum. Like i said Religious. Catholic actually. Now back then as much as i loved them the religion thing kinda pissed me off a tad. I mean she used to walk around in an apron that said "God is in my kitchen" or " God is always at my table" or "God is a great cook".... Ha it made me laugh.
Since when does God care if i say "crap" ??? now if i punch someone on the nose... i'd say that a God could justiflyably care about that... but not saying "crap"... anyway i'm getting ahead of myself again.
Back to Jessica's house. well we are actually at school now. I managed to get through form class well enough. Nobody noticed that i was finishing off that maths homework under the table. They just though i had fallen asleep again.
English was where i got trouble. Normally English is my favorite class, My Teacher Mrs Mitchell is wonderful! in fact she is possibly the best influence on my %^$^ed up life. But that day it went pear shape. (how does this have anything to do with Leukemia...well i'll get to that bit).
My leg was bleeding again and i hadn't noticed but it had run all down my leg, and somhow had got on my skirt. NOT the best look. A pale green plain skirt with bright RED BLOOD dribbling all over it...
I had just walked up the front to hand in my Essay when Joshua shouted out really loud....
"SHE's GOT HER PERIODS MISS!!!..."
My reaction (in front of the whole class Mrs Mitchell and MOST unfortunate of all the Deputy principal who had just walked in) ... Was to walk right up to him and punch him so hard in the nose i broke it....LOL... sorry Joshua!!!
Anyway i'm tired so i had better get this story over with...
Well as i had done damage, and the Deputy was there i ended up on Lunch rubbish duty. NOT the best thing for someone as exhausted as me. I cried ad begged and beged to be let sit in the office and wait for my foster mother. but it didn't work.
Now i look back on it i OWE Josh and the evil deputy BIG TIME for saving my life.
A soccer ball came flying out of nowhere and knocked me out cold.
I woke up in the hospital with a SERIOUSLY CUTE doctor standing over me.
I though at that time i HAD died and gone to heaven. Little did i know that in a short few hours that was a real serious possibility.
Over and out

Day Zero What happened before i found out i had leukemia
That morning really did start like any other. I don't think i had heard of leukemia at that point. Schizophrenia - yes as my mother has it. When i say mother, i mean my birth mother. I currently live in foster care as mum is back in the lock up...(sounds mean i know, but there is no point in beating about the bush.)
Anyway back to the leukemia stuff. Its actually hard to remember back to this day. It has been such a whirlwind since then...
I was at my friend Jess's house. I was sitting on the floor cheating on my maths homework (sorry Mr. Fisher) i was way too tired the night before to do it myself. Anyway i was copying in Jess's answers and trying to shave my legs at the same time.
"Jesus Mary and Mother of Christ " i shouted as i pulled away a small piece of skin out of the razor. - YES it was gross. It pissed it out with blood everywhere. i was left holding up this little flap of skin. I squelched, yes squelched it back into place and grabbed a wetwipe out of the canister on Jess's table. Jess always had these as her little brother Michael was in nappies still.
Speaking of whom, he made an appearance at that time, obviously attracted to the loud noises in the room. He pointed at my leg and said "BOO BOO".
So really my first diagnosis of cancer was a cancer called 'Boo Boo' and was by a 2 year old. Typical Huh!!
so for all of those with cancer BOO BOO. Please read and follow my blog updates. I shall be adding in posts from my original written diary at times, but others will be my social conscience discussing what i think about the world and the people in it.
Anyway over and out SAM (antha)
